ORGANIZATION

GOVERNANCE

Pickleball Alberta (PA) is a registered not for profit society in Alberta. Our volunteer board of directors is elected at our Annual General Meeting. All PA meeting are open to members, however, only designated delegates from each Alberta Sport zone may vote. In this way we strive to represent members from all areas of Alberta.

BYLAWS

ZONE ORGANIZATION

Alberta Sport Connection has divided the province into eight sport zones for Alberta Games and Alberta Senior Masters Games (previously Alberta 55+). You can qualify for the Games by participating in a Zone Playoff. Find your Zone here.

Pickleball Alberta also uses the eight sport zones to provide equal representation at Pickleball Alberta AGMs to discuss and vote on bylaws and other interests. Three delegates from each zone have voting privileges. All members are welcome to attend.

Pickleball Alberta represents the views of all Albertans. Voting at the Annual General Meeting and special meetings is restricted to delegates from the eight sport zones in Alberta set out by Alberta Sport Connection.

AFFILIATIONS

Pickleball Alberta is affiliated with Pickleball Canada Organization.
